About The Author J R Philp
J R Philp is the author and creator of The Best of Books, an ever-growing series of easy-to-read children’s stories and products that celebrate the joy and wonder of childhood. Every title is filled with smiles, color, and encouraging messages that children love to read and share.
Known for his ability to truly connect with kids of all ages, J R draws on a lifetime of experience and a career in Human Resources, where clear communication and genuine care shaped his approach to storytelling. His books blend humor, heart, and gentle lessons that speak to children, and to anyone who remembers being one.
He lives in Naples, Florida, and often visits his grandchildren in California, who remain his first audience and biggest fans. To them, he’s simply “Pop Pop”, the one who writes the fun books that make everyone smile.
